A beautiful, precious child! Daeron gently covers her hands with his own, smiling gently at her.

"Can we not be complicated, neth?"

She has every reason to be cross with who he's chosen, consciously or not. Maglor is who he keeps being drawn back to.

"I was angry with him for so long. Only here are we mending."

Her Dior is one of a kind - as sweet as a little bird, but as strong as an oak. Luthien knows their line will continue through him.

"The heart is complicated. Do you deny it what it seeks?" she rises on her toes to press their heads together, giving him a mock frown, "If complication is all you desire then I have no reason to peck at you."

With a sigh, she has to admit that mending is good. It needs to happen.

"Am I one of your regrets?"

On and on and on! Daeron has listened to all news of her line. Occasionally peeks in on Imladris, though never near enough to be discovered.

"How can I not?" Softly. He shakes his head at her, bending enough to make pressing their heads together a little easier on her.

"You know you are."

"Easily! Do not." she chirps and gives him a very sisterly smile, wrapping her arms around his neck to keep him right here. Maglor will need to answer to her if he upsets her Daeron!

"Why? I lived as I wished and death isn't so bad. It feels like a long slumber." Luthien pets over his hair, "I know what it's like for life to end, Daeron. Do not waste a single year."

He huffs fondly at her but wraps his arms around her to scoop her up before settling on a perch and plopping her right on his lap to properly cuddle his precious sister.

"Because of me, you lost years with him. And then I did not support you as I should have. As you deserve to be."
